Root and Branch Theatre Company

Root and Branch Theatre set up in 2003 with the creation of ‘Story of the Wells’ Anderida the Wealden district in South East, England. ‘Story of the Wells’ was a theatre show written as a theatre in education show for schools and venues re the story of the history of Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Since then we have toured ‘Dragon Tales’ stage 2 of ‘Anderida- Wealden forest’ which toured nationally to schools, festivals and theatre venues. We also performed at Surrey Farm Park in Halloween-October holiday doing Surrey local legends as shows and workshops. This then led to the creation of ‘Project Great Grandmother’ inspiration to include mythology along with history, local legends and folklore. Currently working on ‘Holda and the King of Goose Island’ story of winter weather landscape in Pulborough Sussex via myths legend and lore. Created as both a book and theatre show.
