The calendar contains events that we or our community members are running. You can view the events as a List or as a Calendar by selecting from the dropdown list at the far right of the search bar below.
To find out more about an event, click on its title. You will be able to see more information about the event including time, location, price and who is organising it.
If you would like to list your event in the calendar, please click on “Events” in the menu above and select “Add an Event”. You will need to login or register with us before you can add an event.
Meet at Gloucester Park bandstand 11am
We will walk into the city centre at 11.30am, to begin at 12pm
No organiser, simply a tribe of people who understand what is happening right now.
This is a freedom gathering. You bring your own home-made signs, on whatever message you feel passionate about that you want to share with the people of Gloucester on a busy Christmas shopping weekend.
So much is happening, so much could happen, we have vaccine passports incoming, potential lockdowns, further mask restrictions and more. The policing bill, if voted in may change protesting as we know it.
We will disperse into the city centre, intuitively guided by the group, we may stand in lines, wavy lines, small groups throughout the centre… holding our signs for one hour.
Some of you may choose to walk, others may wish to hand out light papers, mince pies or leaflets… wear tinsel or make your sign festive…or just come as you are…you decide.
You can wear your sign, hold your sign… speak your message… whatever you feel.
After one hour, we may take a stroll to the Christmas market… we may not… the spirit of the day will decide this.
