The calendar contains events that we or our community members are running. You can view the events as a List or as a Calendar by selecting from the dropdown list at the far right of the search bar below.
To find out more about an event, click on its title. You will be able to see more information about the event including time, location, price and who is organising it.
If you would like to list your event in the calendar, please click on “Events” in the menu above and select “Add an Event”. You will need to login or register with us before you can add an event.

If you can’t come along by car, 2 bus services terminate at the bus stop close by on the only main road in & out of the village (372 service from Sandyhills or Dumfries or the 825 service from Dumfries or Dalbeattie). The Bus Stop ID is 34235768 should you want to look it up. The junction for the main road into the seaside village can be accessed from the winding A710 either from the SW (from Castle Douglas, Dalbeattie, Sandyhills, Caulkerbush, Mainsriddle, etc) or NE (Dumfries, New Abbey, Kirkbean, etc) so do take care when finding & turning left or right at the junction, even on the way out. You can buy whatever food and/or drinks suit you best at the pub.
