Does London deserve a leader that is incapable of telling the truth? I dont think so!

Will Together Membership help me if I am in Scotland/Wales/Northern Ireland?
Yes, Together is a campaign for the whole of the UK. We have members in all UK nations and are planning more events around the UK, like we did in Cardiff against vaccine passports back in November.
I live outside the UK but have been following Together, will membership help me in my country too?
We have no immediate plans to campaign outside of the UK. Every country’s legal system and culture is different and making impact in the UK is challenge enough for now.
That said, if you wish to join as a member from another country in solidarity, and to keep abreast of what Together is doing, you are most welcome.
Please note we don’t currently mail merchandise included in membership packages to addresses outside of the UK.
As a member, how will I be able to have a say on the direction Together goes in?
We’re always interested to hear from members informally, but as a member you’ll also get a chance to vote at our annual meeting to influence our direction. No travel required as we will provide an online voting system.
Is membership just for individuals or can organisations join as well?
Organisations are welcome to join – please choose whatever package suits you. After you’ve joined, you will receive an email order confirmation. We can also provide a receipt for your records, on request.
How does Together plan to use the income from Membership?
Having been effective with volunteers on a shoestring budget to date, it is not in Together’s “DNA” to be extravagant.
We will make every penny count towards essential running costs, scaling up our marketing campaigns to reach many more people, running online and offline advertising and promotions, hosting events nationwide, producing high quality content to influence the media, and employing skeleton staff to assist with the growing research and administrative demands.
How has Together made ends meet so far?
Since forming in August 2021, Together has existed on a shoestring budget thanks to a small number of donations from concerned friends, but mostly the tireless efforts of a small team of volunteers.
Working round the clock and full time, many volunteers have put their ‘old’ lives completely on hold at considerable personal cost, such was the urgency of the situation.
Donations until now have covered the most basic of costs; for example, Together has achieved all it has so far with zero advertising budget.
Membership will allow us to continue, and expand what we do – which is essential if we are to win the big battles ahead.
I have seen Together do THIS, but will you do THAT?
Our experience has shown us that no single tactic is ‘the answer’ to the different challenges we face.
Events and awareness raising, media and publicity, protests, legal challenges, lobbying of elected officials… all these and more have to happen in a co-ordinated way to get the right outcomes. We believe one of Together’s strengths so far has been this “360 degree” approach.
Can we really break through when so much of the public seems apathetic about – or even actually in favour of – restrictions and infringements on our liberty?
Firstly, we believe most of the public would actually be with us if the full story is communicated to them effectively. As we know, governments and 90% of the media have given an incredibly one-sided story these last two years, supported with huge ad spend and behavioural science ‘nudge’ techniques.
Secondly, a motivated and organised minority can certainly change things. It is not an exact comparison of course, but worth remembering that fewer people are Conservative Party members (approx 150,000) than signed the Together Declaration (210,000) in just a few months.
We don’t need everyone on board to make our voices heard, and change things for the better.
Together is a UK organisation and seems focused on UK issues. That’s all well and good but aren’t many of our challenges global in nature?
We appreciate that international or supranational groups and Non Governmental Organisations have had an influence over our lives that many supporters are unhappy with. We support all citizens’ rights to determine their own future in their own nation state and we’ll challenge undemocratic impositions at every turn.
The bottom line is that global organisations only have influence here to the extent we allow them to.
It’s up to us as sovereign individuals, working together, to force accountability.
Who are the main people behind Together?
Together has a small but dynamic team and Executive Board. You can find out more about our current team here and our Executive Board here (links open in new window).
I would like to support you but am really struggling financially, should I still join?
Especially given policies like lockdowns and sacking care home workers over the past two years, we know some people are really struggling. If joining now would put you in financial hardship, please don’t. You can still support us by telling friends and family about us, or sharing our updates on social media to help spread the word.
As an ordinary person with limited time and resources, how can anything I do possibly have an influence when up against government, massive global corporations, powerful interests, big media, academia, even perhaps other nation states?
You’re correct that the odds are stacked against the “little person.” This is precisely why we must come together, now!
As one supporter told us: “what’s great about Together is you give us the bullets,” by which he meant we provide and co-ordinate campaigns of all kinds, information, links, templates and so on that make it as easy as possible for us all to combine our voices – even if you have very little time.
With Together organising, and giving our large supporter base of active supporters the right “bullets” at the right time, we can be heard loudly, even though it may take the average supporter only a few minutes a week to take action.
As we have already shown, when many do that, we can have a big impact #together.
